Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) impedes an individual’s capacity to learn at the same rate as their peers. It is emblematic of frustration and can negatively affect both children and adults. Due to lacking control over their behavioural tendencies, the disorder naturally cause upsets. If left undiagnosed, these conditions could inhibit day-to-day activities and academic progression. Educational Assessments offer a variety of services, including ADHD assessments. We have designated facilities across an extensive area of Australia, including Perth. Our qualified team of consultants also conduct home assessments.
Despite being a genetic predisposition, maturation can play a major role in ADHD. Some children have grown to see the severity of their symptoms diminish over time. This could be due to hormonal stability. Although some experts suggest individuals learn coping strategies to adapt to their environment. Regardless, this is only the case for a minority of ADHD sufferers. It is important to note, however, that there are two distinct categories of ADHD. Most individuals with ADHD have problems across both categories – although there are outliers. There is a form of ADHD known simply as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). This can go unnoticed as its behavioural symptoms are tough to recognise and can be less obvious.
